MANAGING HEAT STRESS IN FLYING-FOX COLONIES
Written by Linda Collins, Sonya Stanvic and Viki McDonald. This very informative presentation explains how to manage Heat Stress Events (‘HSE’).
This 37 page document discusses personal experience of 19 HSE’s between 1994-2019. These included monitoring colonies between 2000-2019. Extreme high temperatures of >42 degree C for 54 days were part of those HSE’s!
A MUST read for all Members, as these events become increasingly common in current times.
